The RSS is an ideological ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Center headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Bringing policy coordination to both domestic and international objectives of the government
It has been emphasized in this note that after Pandemic, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh wants to bring policy coordination both domestically and internationally in the functioning and objectives of the government.
US President Donald Trump and his administration have been critical of China’s ways of handling the Corona virus spread and accused this large country of Asia of not reporting the case honestly and not warning the world of its threat. Whereas in the central Chinese city of Wuhan (Wuhan), the spread of its animals to humans was first detected.
The limitations of both capitalism and communism in dealing with the challenges of the economy
The note that the RSS circulated also outlined the limits of ‘capitalism and communism’ to deal with the economy that was being destroyed by the virus outbreak, forcing one-third of the population of the earth to remain in lockdown. All economic activities have stopped and more than 2 lakh lives have been lost by this.
The materialist outlook imposed on the whole world can push us into cycles of new economic decline and environmental degradation. In such a scenario, it would be prudent to develop a new model based on self-reliance and ‘Swadeshi’.
The note states, “In this indigenous model, local resources, work force and needs will be channeled into economic activities, taking into consideration environmental considerations.”
